I have a dog that is a similar breed to yours. Any tips for cleaning up couches, carpet, chairs, sheets, etc. to rid of the hair? Sometimes my vacuum just doesn’t cut it.
When you are using your vacuum are you taking advantage of its attachments and accessories? I can’t stress enough how much I love vacuum attachments and how much more efficient they make my cleans for clients with pets! The crevice tool goes deep into couch cushions and those hard to reach corners behind the couch, the upholstery tool removes dust and lint from couches, pillows, bed sheets, comforters, etc., and the pet hair tool has a bristle brush which I have found removes hair from carpets and rugs like a pro. Another way I have successfully gotten hard to remove pet hair from couches, carpet, chairs, etc is by using a dry or damp sponge (make small circles in small areas) or a dry or damp sponge-mop (vacuum entire area first then run the sponge mop along the carpet anywhere the pet hair is gathered). These are my two go to strategies when tackling pet hair, but I have heard that some cleaners also use rubber gloves (throw on a pair and rub through the carpet) or a lint roller when attempting to get hair off of upholstery or linen. Let me know if you try any of these or if you found another way you like best! 👩🏽🦰🧺🧼
