Today's post is more administrative than usual and jam packed with important information about the bizz. I cover a wide range of questions that I feel have been asked most over the past three months. They are in no particular order. Feel free to skim until a question catches your eye or pertains to you - totally get. Happy learning!

“What can I do to get ready for my clean?”

Great question and thank you for asking! Before we arrive we suggest doing any or all of the following: Put away any valuable items you do not want moved around or touched, remove every day clutter from surfaces and floors such as toys, clothes, dishes, etc, remove dishes from the sink, and flip on the AC or open the windows to get some air flowing. Some weeks you might not get around to this stuff, no problem. If you get a moment, your assistance will always be well-received. TIA.


"How much do you charge?"

Currently, we charge $30/hr for home cleanings and $40/hr for office spaces. Contact us to receive a free price estimate overview and to discuss your cleaning needs.


"How should I pay?"

You can pay on the day of in a variety of ways:

“How can I contact Order & Scrub if I have any questions before or after my clean?”

"Can I book through the website?"

You are able to book your desired-time slot using the website. You will be asked about your contact information and your cleaning needs. Once received, we will reach out to you with a custom estimate within 48 hours. We will walk you through the rest of the process through your preferred method of communication (text, call, email). Easy, right? The website is also a great place to read about our different cleaning services, view our recent work photo gallery, keep up with the blog, and more.


Does Order & Scrub have an Instagram?”

“Can you clean my 9000 sq. ft, 5 bedroom, 3.5 bathroom house? Tomorrow? And in two hours!?”

Probably not! In my experience, cleaning a home takes time and patience and having realistic time expectations allows for both client and cleaner(s) to be happy with the provided services. I find that having ample time to clean everything properly makes for the best room transformations and extends the life of your home materials. Taking the time to be thorough also allows space for us to familiarize ourselves with your home’s hidden dirt, dust, and bacteria. We'll help you kiss those germs goodbye.

“Are you running any current promotions?”

We are currently running two promotions:

"What locations do you serve?"

We are ordering and scrubbing all around San Diego County. This includes but is not limited to: Mira Mesa, Poway, Rancho Bernardo, Carmel Valley, San Marcos, Escondido, Pomorado, La Jolla, La Mesa, Pacific Beach, Rancho Peñasquitos, Santee, Vista, Bonita, Carlsbad, Chula Vista, Coronado, Del Mar, El Cajon, Encinitas, Vista. What is the difference between the Initial Deep Clean and the Signature Deep Clean?

I found this question to be the most frequently asked question of the month. During the Initial Deep Clean, we come in prepared to thoroughly clean and disinfect your space's commonly used areas (i.e. surfaces, door knobs, light switches, toilets, showers, sinks, stove tops, etc). We also use this time to prepare your home for frequent cleans such as weekly, biweekly, or monthly visits. We typically suggest the Initial Deep Clean for all of our first time clients. The Signature Deep Clean is typically carried out every 6 months or a couple times a year. It reaches the deep grime and dirt in your home and covers areas and tasks that are not typically covered during the Initial Deep Clean or in a General Maintenance Clean (i.e. front walk way, behind and under furniture, inside the oven, hard-water prints on stainless steel, etc). The Signature Spring Clean tends to take more time averaging anywhere from 5-10 hours (depending on condition and client's cleaning needs). When should I schedule a general maintenance clean?

Once your home is at top-tier freshness and every corner has been cleaned, it is time to start scheduling General Maintenance Cleans. These cleans typically decrease in time as upkeep becomes simpler due to being more familiar with your space and the best ways to clean it. We will keep you informed about when we believe your home is ready for regular cleaning.


Can I purchase an Order & Scrub crew neck or face mask?
